335. Ombre effect easel card + video tutorials

 Hello everyone!

 

Instructions:  

Easel card measures – 6 inches by
6 inches. 

To create a card base – cut out a 12” x 6” piece of Black
Card and score it at 3 and 6” (long side up). Fold using a bone folder
along the score lines. To decorate the centre of the card – cut out 5
3/4”x 5 3/4” piece of White Card and adhere it to the centre of the card
as shown. Cut out 5 3/4” x 2” piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and
distress it to create ombre effect with Memento Dye Ink Pads –
Elderberry, Grape Jelly and Angel Pink using Daubers, then adhere it
inside of the card using 3D foam.

To decorate the card front – die cut an eyelet square of White Card
using Stairway Gardens Die, then distress it lightly with Memento Dye
Ink Pads – Elderberry using Daubers, then adhere the bottom part of the
final piece to the card front as shown. Cut out 5 1/2” x 5 1/2” piece of
Black Card and adhere it to the card front using 3D foam. Cut out 5
1/4” x 5 1/4” piece of Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper and distress it
distress it to create ombre effect with Memento Dye Ink Pads –
Elderberry, Grape Jelly and Angel Pink using Daubers, then stamp the
aster image of Wild Aster Scroll & Cluster cling stamp set with Jet Black
Archival Ink as shown and adhere the final piece to the card front. Die
cut an eyelet square of Black Card using Stairway Gardens Die, then cut
out two sides of it and adjust it to measure 5 1/4”. Cut out 3/4” x 5
1/4” piece of Deluxe Flower shaping paper and distress it with Memento
Dye Ink Pad – Elderberry, then adhere two eyelet stripes on the back of
it and adhere the final piece to the card front using 3D foam. Die cut
sentiment background of White card using Fancy Special Day Die and
distress it with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Elderberry, then adhere it on the
card front as shown.Stamp the sentiment of Fancy Special Day Cling
Stamp Set with Ranger Archival Ink Pad – Magenta Hue, then die cut it
with matching Fancy Special Day Die and adhere it on the centre of the
card.

Stamp the leaf image of Wild Aster Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475
Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Bamboo leave,
then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pads – Bamboo leave and Pear
Tart using HCDA1-449 Daubers. Die cut using a matching die of Wild Aster
Die and shape them with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit HCST1-401. Stamp a
wild aster image of Wild Aster Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe
Flower Shaping Paper with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Elderberry, then colour
the image with Ranger Archival Ink Pad – Vibrant Fuchsia RACP52 and
Memento Dye Ink Pad – Angel Pink using HCDA1-449 Daubers.Die cut the
image with matching Wild Aster Die, then shape them using Deluxe Flower
Shaping Kit HCST1-401. Assemble Wild Aster flower petals using a hot
glue gun. Apply Designer Dries Clear Adhesive on the centre of the
flower and sprinkle it with Ribbit Prills ANC825. Assemble Flower buds
using hot glue gun, Pastel Pearl Stamens-Medium HCS1-457-2.

Using a sponge add Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the flower petals
and pine cones and sprinkle them with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear
Glitter, then adhere flowers to the card and fill in the composition
with leaves.
