Hello everyone! For today’s first inspiration I prepared a 6″ x 6″ card created with Home on the Farm Collection and decorated Oakberrylane flowers by Heartfelt Creations. I used a craft card to create a card base. I love how these decorative corners framed the composition. I used prills to add the texture on my small flowers and the stamped branches from the collection to fill in my flower arrangement. Yellow and Orange colours are not my favourite but I should admit I have a lot of fun creating this autumn theme card. Enjoy!
Instructions: Tent card measures – 6” inches by 6” inches. To create a card base – cut out a 12” x 6” piece of White Card and score it at 6” (long side up). Cut out 3” x 6” piece of White Card and score it at 1/2”, 1 1/2” and 2 1/2” (long side up). Fold using a bone folder along the score lines and adhere both pieces together to create a tent card. Cut out 6” x 6” piece of Kraft Card and adhere it on the front of the card. Cut out 5 7/8” x 5 7/8” piece of HCDP1-2120 Home on the Farm Paper Collection and adhere it to the card front. Die cut 4 decorative corners from Kraft Card with HCD1-7263 Swirly Accent Spray Die and adhere them to the card front using 159723 Designer Dries Clear Adhesive with 352854 Metal tip. Cut out 2” x 6” pieces of HCDP1-2120 Home on the Farm Paper Collection, distress with TSMP800 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Rich Cocoa using Daubers, then cut out 2 1/8” x 6” piece of Kraft Card. Stack and adhere these two pieces together, then adhere the final piece on the centre of the card front.
Die cut decorative frame from HCGP1-493 Luxe Silver Cardstock using HCD2-7191 Intricate Swirl Frames Die and adhere it to the Paper Collection, then fussy cut using scissors. Adhere it to a 3 3/8” x 5 3/8” piece Kraft Card and adhere the final piece to the card front using 3D foam.
Die cut sentiment from Kraft Card using HCD1-7179 Butterfly Kisses Decorative Die, then distress in with TSMP800 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Rich Cocoa using Daubers and adhere the final piece to the card front using 159723 Designer Dries Clear Adhesive with 352854 Metal tip.
Stamp the flower images on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with HCPC-3927 Barnyard Accents Cling Stamp Set using TSMP707 Memento Dye Ink – Bamboo Leaves, colour them in with TSMP707 Memento Dye Ink – Bamboo Leaves, TSMP300 Memento Dye ink – Lady Bug and TSMP103 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Cantaloupe using Daubers, then die cut with matching HCD1-7318 Barnyard Accents Die and adhere final pieces to the card front as shown. Stamp the plant image on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with HCPC-3927Barnyard Accents Cling Stamp Set using TSMP707 Memento Dye Ink – Bamboo Leaves, colour with the same TSMP707 Memento Dye Ink – Bamboo Leaves using Daubers, then die cut it with matching HCD1-7318 Barnyard Accents Die and adhere final piece to the card front as shown.
Stamp the leaf images on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with HCPC-3835 Leafy Accents Cling Stamp Set with TSMP707 Memento Dye Ink – Bamboo Leaves and colour them with the same TSMP707 Memento Dye Ink – Bamboo Leaves, then die cut them with matching HCD1-7193 Leafy Accents Die. Place leaves in HCFB1-467 3D Leafy Accents Shaping Mold, spray them with water and run them through a die cutting machine, then adhere them to the card front as shown.
Stamp flower petals from HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP300 Memento Dye ink – Lady Bug and colour them with TSMP103 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Cantaloupe and TSMP300 Memento Dye ink – Lady Bug using Daubers, then die cut them with matching HCD1-7200 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Die. Place flower petals in HCFB1-469 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold, spray them with water and run them through a die cutting machine. Assemble Oakberry flowers using a hot glue gun. Using Metal tip and Designer Dries Clear Adhesives, apply glue on the flower center and sprinkle it with ANC805 Gilt Trip Prills, then adhere the flowers to the card front using a Hot glue gun.
Using Metal tip and Designer Dries Clear Adhesives, apply glue on the edges of the flowers and leaves and sprinkle PGM15015 Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter. As a final touch, apply Dries Clear Glue on the flowers and adhere ANC805 Gilt Trip Prills as accents.
