Hello everyone! This is my inspiration for Heartfelt Creations – 6″ x 6″ (15 cm x 15cm) tent card. Originally I designed this card other way but I made a mistake during the assembling process. You can see this in my video tutorial below. I remember the stress a few years ago when I made mistakes like this, I didn’t understand people saying ‘that’s ok’. Now I’m one of these ‘experience crafters’ telling you the same: it’s ok to make mistakes. To turn these mistakes into a masterpiece is an essential thing for every crafter. I’m not hiding it. I’m not ashamed. I just created another card with own craft story. Enjoy!

Oakberry Lane Blossoms

Instructions: Tent card measures – 6 inches by 6 inches. To create a 6” x 6” tent card base – cut out a 12” x 6” piece of HCPP1-438-2 White card and score it at 6” (long side up), fold using a bone folder along the score lines. Cut out 3” x 6” piece of HCPP1-438-2 White card and score it at 1/2”, 1 1/2” and 2 1/2” (short side up), fold it using a bone folder along the score lines and assemble the card base. Cut out 6” x 6” piece of HCDP1-2122 Floral Shoppe Paper Collection, distress the edges with TSMP608 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Paris Dusk and adhere the final piece on the card front.

Die cut decorative circle from White card with HCD1-7271 Rounded Window Frame Die, then distress it with TSMP608 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Paris Dusk and adhere the final piece to the card front using DDOTS 3D Foam Circles.Fussy cut a piece of HCDP1-2122 Floral Shoppe Paper Collection Sheet 9A with letters, distress the edges TSMP608 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Paris Dusk and fold the letters edges to add a more dimensional look. Stamp the sentiment on it using HCPC-3937 Elaborate Birthday Cling Stamp Set with TSMP608 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Paris Dusk, then adhere the final piece to the card front as shown.

Stamp the branches on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper from HCPC-3911 Wisteria Petals Cling Stamp Set with Memento Dye Ink: Bamboo Leaves, and colour them with Memento Dye Inks: Bamboo Leaves, Paris Dusk and Elderberry using Daubers. Die cut them with matching HCD1-7295 Wisteria Petals Die and shape them with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Stamp the leaves on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper from HCPC-3933 Floral Shoppe Fillers Cling Stamp Set with TSMP507 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Elderberry and colour them with Memento Dye Inks: Elderberry, Bamboo Leaves and Paris Dusk. Die cut them with matching HCD1-7331 Floral Shoppe Fillers Die and shape them with Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit.

Stamp the leaves from HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP707 Memento Dye Ink – Bamboo Leaves and colour them in with Memento Dye Inks: Bamboo Leaves and Paris Dusk, then die cut them with matching HCD1-7200 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Die. Stamp flower petals from HCPC-3842 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Cobalt Archival Ink and colour them with Chipped Sapphire and Broken China Ranger Distress Inks using Daubers, then die cut them with matching HCD1-7200 Oakberry Lane Blossoms Die. Place flower petals and leaves in HCFB1-469 3D Blossoms Shaping Mold, spray them with water and run them through a die cutting machine. Assemble Oakberry flowers using a hot glue gun, then use a paper piercer to make a hole in the middle and pull some stamens through it. Add a little hot glue underneath the flower to secure the stamens.

Using Metal tip and Designer Dries Clear Adhesive, apply glue on flower and leaves edges and sprinkle PGM15015 Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear glitter. Adhere the flowers to the card front using a Hot glue gun and fill in composition with leaves and branches. As a finishing touch, decorate the card with white pearls.
