Hello everyone! Thank you for beautiful Birthday wishes, it really melts my heart during this difficult time when I was spending Christmas and New Year’s eve apart from my family.
For this week’s inspiration I prepared a card with blue Poinsettia flowers. I was playing with the beautiful Countryside Cottage Collection and arranging winter composition.
Card measures – 5” inches by 7” inches
Instructions: To create a card base – cut out a 10” x 7” piece of White Card and score it at 5” (long side up). Fold using a bone folder along the score lines.Cut out 4 7/8” x 5 7/8” piece of HCDP1-2123 Paper Collection, distress it with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Paris Dusk and adhere it to the card front. Die cut decorative frame of HCGP1-493 Luxe Silver Card using HCD1-7305 Ornate Ovals and adhere it to the card front using 3D foam. Die cut oval of HCDP1-2123 Paper Collection using Eyelet Oval & Basics Small Die and adhere it to the card front using 3D foam.
Stamp the snow man of HCPC-3942 Countryside Winter ’scapes Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Paris Dusk, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Bamboo leave, Lady Bug, Dandelion, Rich Cacao and Summer Sky using 282873 Tombow Dual Brush Maker N00 Blender. Die cut the image with matching Countryside Winter ’scapes Die and adhere it to the card front using 3D foam. Stamp the leaves of HCPC-3939 Cottage Tree ‘scapes Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Olive Grove, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Bamboo leave using 282873 Tombow Dual Brush Maker N00 Blender. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7333 Cottage Tree ‘scapes Die and adhere it to the card front as shown.
Stamp a few poinsettia images from HCFB1-478 Christmas Poinsettia & Holly Cling Stamp set with Cobalt Archival Ink and colour them in with Archival Inks: Manganese Blue and Vivid Chartreuse using daubers. Die cut poinsettias and holly images with matching die from Christmas Poinsettia & Holly, then place them in 3D Christmas Poinsettia Shaping Mold, spray them with water and run them through the die cutting machine. Assemble poinsettia flower petals using a hot glue gun and make sure to offset them. Use a paper piercer to make a hole in the middle of it and pull some stamens through it. Add a bit of hot glue underneath the flower to secure the stamens. Using a sponge, add Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the flower petals, sprinkle them with Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear Glitter and adhere them to the card front. Fill in the composition with leaves.
As a final touch apply 3-D Crystal Lacquer 4 oz 3D1844 on selected leaves. and flower petals.
