Simple card with Zinnia

Hello everyone! For this week’s inspiration I prepared two cards – this is the first one. Simple card created with Summer’s Garden Collection and decorated with ombre Zinnia flower.

Instructions: Top fold card measures – 6” inches by 6” inches. To create a card base – cut out a 12” x 6” piece of HCPP1-438-2 White Card and score it at 6” (long side up). Fold using a bone folder along the score lines. Cut out 6” x 6” piece of Paper Collection and adhere it to the card front.Cut out 5 1/4” x 5 1/4” piece of Paper Collection and adhere it to the card front using 3D foam.

Cut out 1 1/8” x 5” piece of Paper Collection and create a banner end using scissors, shape it with your fingers and adhere the final piece to the card front using 3D foam and Dries Clear Glue.Cut out 1” x 4 1/4” piece of Summer’s Garden Paper Collection and create a banner end using scissors, shape it with your fingers and adhere the final piece to the card front using 3D foam and Dries clear Glue.Cut out 3/4” x 4” strips of Paper Collection and stamp the sentiment on it from Celebrate Love Sentiments Cling Stamp Set HCPC-3847 with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Elderberry.

Stamp the leaf image from HCPC-3924 Small Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Bamboo leave, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pads – Bamboo leaves and Pear Tart using HCDA1-449 Daubers. Die cut using matching die from HCD1-7315 Small Garden Zinnia Die, then place them in HCFB1-492 Small 3D Zinnia Shaping Mold, spray them with water and run them through a die cutting machine.

Stamp the Zinnia images from HCPC-3924 Small Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Elderberry, then colour the image with Ranger Archival Ink Pad – Vibrant Fuchsia RACP524 and Memento Dye Ink Pads – Angel Pink, Grape Jelly and Elderberry using HCDA1-449 Daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7315 Small Garden Zinnia Die, then place them in HCFB1-492 Small 3D Zinnia Shaping Mold, spray them with water and run them through a die cutting machine. Assemble Zinnia flowers petals using a hot glue gun. Apply glue using a hot glue gun on the centre of the flower and sprinkle it with Gilt Trip Prills ANC805. Using a sponge, add Designer Dries Clear Adhesive to the flower petal, sprinkle them with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter 1/2 oz. 85-glitter, and apply 3-D Crystal Lacquer 4 oz 3D1844 on flower petals, then adhere flower to the card and fill in the composition with leaves.

Stamp the lady bug from HCPC-3923 Large Garden Zinnia Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Jet Black Archival ink, then colour the image with TSMP300 Lady Bug Memento Dye Ink using HCDA1-449 Daubers. Die cut using HCD1-7314 Large Garden Zinnia Die, shape with HCFB1-491 Large 3D Zinnia Shaping Mold and Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit, then adhere it to the card front using glue dots. As a final touch apply 3-D Crystal Lacquer 4 oz 3D1844 on the ladybug.
