Hello everyone! For this week’s inspiration I prepared flourish 8″ x 8″ card This card is created with Spring Garden Collection and decorated with Hyacinth and yellow Peonies flowers. Video tutorial below.
Instructions: Z fold card measures – 8 inches by 8 inches.
To create a card base – cut out a 16” x 8” piece of White Card and score it at 4” and 8” inches (long side up), then fold using a bone folder along the score lines. Cut out the following pieces of HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection: 2 pieces 7 7/8” x 3 7/8” and 1 piece 7 7/8” x 7 7/8”, then ink the edges of each of the pieces with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Grape Jelly using HCDA1-449 Stack and Store Daubers and adhere them to the card base as shown. Die Cut the decorative shape of White Card using HCD2-7337 Teardrop Lattice Gateway Die and adhere inside of the card as shown. Die Cut the shape of White Card and HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection using HCD2-7337 Teardrop Lattice Gateway Die and, then stack and adhere them together on the card front. Die Cut 2 decorative frames of White Card using HCD2-7337 Teardrop Lattice Gateway Die, then stack and adhere them together to the card front using 3D foam.
Stamp the Hyacinth image from HCPC-3947 Fragrant Hyacinth Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Olive Grove, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pads – Bamboo leave and Pear Tart using 282873 Tombow Dual Brush Maker N00 Blender and HCDA1-449 daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7345 Fragrant Hyacinth Die and adhere on the left side of the card front using DDOTS 3D foam. Stamp the Hyacinth petals images from HCPC-3947 Fragrant Hyacinth Cling Stamp Set on HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Grape Jelly, then colour the images with the same ink using HCDA1-449 daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7345 Fragrant Hyacinth Die, shape them with HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and adhere them to the Hyacinth flower as shown, then apply Ranger Liquid Pearls – opal white on the centre of each of the petals. Stamp the Hyacinth images from HCPC-3944 Delightful Daffodil & Hyacinth Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Olive Grove, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pads – Bamboo leave and Rose Bud using 282873 Tombow Dual Brush Maker N00 Blender.Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7342 Delightful Daffodil & Hyacinth Die and adhere them to the card front as shown. Stamp the pot image fropm HCPC-3905 Elegant Teapot & Florals Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Wisteria Wonder or Highland Heather Stampin’ Up! Ink pad and colour it with Wisteria Wonder or Highland Heather Stampin’ Up! Ink pad and Jane Davenport Silky Skin Colorstick using 282873 Tombow Dual Brush Maker N00 Blender. Die cut tea pot using matching die from HCD1-7288 Elegant Teapot & Florals die, adhere additional layer of white cardstock to the back and adhere the final piece on the right side of the card front. Die cut 2 decorative corners from HCGP1-488 Luxe Gold Cardstock using HCD1-7263 Swirly Accent Spray Die and adhere them to the card base as shown.
Stamp the leaf images from HCPC-3835 Leafy Accents Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Olive Grove, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Bamboo leave using HCDA1-449 daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7193 Leafy Accents Die, then shape them using HCFB1-467 3D Leafy Accents Shaping Mold and HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Stamp the Peony images from HCPC-3820 Large Sweet Peony Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Olive Grove, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Dandelion using HCDA1-449 daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7174 Large Sweet Peony Die, then shape them using fingers and HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Assemble Peony flowers using a hot glue gun, then adhere finished flowers to the card and fill in the composition with leaves.
As a final touch, apply Dries Clear Adhesive using Hydra sponge on selected leaves and flowers, then sprinkle them with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter, and leave card to dry completely.
