Hyacinth card +video tutorial

Hello everyone! For this week’s inspiration I prepared 7″ x 7″ card. This card was created with Spring Garden Collection and decorated larger Hyacinth.

Pocket card measures – 7 inches by 7 inches.

Instructions: To create a card base – cut out a 7” x 7” piece of HCPP1-438-2 White Card. Cut out 6 7/8” x 6 7/8” piece of HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection, then distress the edges with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Grape Jelly using HCDA1-449 Stack and Store Daubers. Die cut the slot using HCD1-7211 Decorative Pocket Accents Die, then adhere the final piece to the card front making sure to leave enough space for the pocket. Die cut decorative frame from HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection using HCD2-7308 Majestic Swirl Frames Die, then adhere the final piece to the card base using Dries clear glue with metal tip. Die cut decorative element from HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection using HCD1-7211 Decorative Pocket Accents Die, then distress it with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Grape Jelly using HCDA1-449 Stack and Store Daubers and adhere the final piece to the card front as shown.

Stamp the Hyacinth image from HCPC-3947 Fragrant Hyacinth Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Olive Grove, then colour the image with Memento Dye Ink Pads – Bamboo leaves and Pear Tart using 282873 Tombow Dual Brush Marker N00 Blender and HCDA1-449 daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7345 Fragrant Hyacinth Die and adhere on the centre of the frame. Stamp the Hyacinth petals images from HCPC-3947 Fragrant Hyacinth Cling Stamp Set on HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection with TSMP708 Memento Dye Ink Pad – Grape Jelly, then colour the image with the same ink using HCDA1-449 daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7345 Fragrant Hyacinth Die, shape them with HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit and adhere them to the Hyacinth flower as shown, then apply Ranger Liquid Pearls – opal white on the centre of each of the petals.

Die cut two A2 size panels from HCDP1-2125 Spring Garden Paper Collection and adhere them to the HCPP1-438-2 White Card, then punch the 1/8” hole on the side of both tags and decorate them with a bow. Place the tags to the pocket as shown.

As a final touch, apply Dries Clear Adhesive using Hydra sponge on selected leaves and flowers, then sprinkle them with Crystal Ultrafine Transparent Glitter, and leave the card to dry completely.
