
Hello everyone! For this week’s inspiration I prepared 5” x 7” fun fold card. This card was created with Sweet Magnolia Collection and decorated with Magnolia flowers.




Instructions: Card measures – 5 inches by 7 inches. To create a card base – cut out 10” x 5” piece of HCPP1-438-2 White card and score it at 7″, then fold using a bone folder along the score lines. Cut out 4 7/8” x 6 7/8” and 4 7/8” x2 7/8” pieces from HCDP1-2126 Sweet Magnolia Paper Collection, distress the edges on each piece with Memento Dye Ink – Lilac Posies using HCDA1-449 Daubers and adhere them to the card base as shown. Die cut two shapes of HCPP1-438-2 White card using HCD1-7322 Elaborate Birthday Die and adhere one on the centre of the card front, then second one inside of the card. Die cut one shape of HCDP1-2126 Sweet Magnolia Paper Collection using HCD1-7322 Elaborate Birthday Die and adhere it on the card front as shown. Stamp the sentiment from HCPC-3937 Elaborate Birthday Cling Stamp Set on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using Memento Dye Ink – Rose Bud, then die cut it using matching HCD1-7322 Elaborate Birthday Die and adhere it on the card front using 3D foam. Stamp the leaves from HCPC-3950 Sweet Magnolia Bouquet Cling Stamp Set, on HCPP1-475 Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Elderberry, then colour the image with Memento Dye Inks: Lilac Posies, Elderberry and Bamboo Leaves using Tombow Dual Brush Maker N00 Blender. DIe cut the images with matching HCD1-7348 Sweet Magnolia Bouquet Die, then cut them to smaller pieces using scissors and adhere them to the card front using 3D foam pieces. Stamp the Magnolia petals from HCPC-3948 Sweet Magnolia Blooms Cling Stamp Set on HCDP1-2126 Sweet Magnolia Paper Collection with Memento Dye Ink Pad – Lilac Posies, then colour the images with the same ink using HCDA1-449 Daubers. Die cut the images with matching HCD1-7346 Sweet Magnolia Blooms Die, shape them using HCST1-401 Deluxe Flower Shaping Kit. Assemble Magnolia flower petals using a hot glue gun and make sure to offset them. Use a paper piercer to make a hole in the middle of it and pull some stamens through. Add a bit of hot glue underneath the flower to secure the stamens. Adhere the flowers on the card front as shown.
